ABOUT ARTIST
Born in 1975 Swati Sabale became a proponent of gender-biased society, her work of Visual Art revolving around women-centric theology, her art depicts the rampant culture of domestic abuse. Swati has been working as an Art Teacher in Sterling School for a period of 14 years, during this process, her potential was realized by her husband Prof. Vishwanath Sabale Dean (Fine Arts) in Sir J. J School of Arts Mumbai, his acute perception about her potential to paint was encouraged in bringing out the best in her creativity, gracefulness, cultured mindset on canvas where Swati explored her ability to the utmost, her receptiveness towards women in the society is vehement and it clearly shows on her poetically painted artwork. For Swati, being an artist means forever healing your own wounds and at the same time endlessly exposing them.
