We are a recently established cultural destination for exhibiting fine art in an intimate environment in Hyderabad, India. Gallery78 is designed to create a collaborative space that serves diverse functions for people to exchange ideas, learn and explore different topics. We are associated with some of the most renowned artists from India and abroad. We present the best in contemporary art to our global audience through comprehensive access to programs of leading artists around the world. We feature a cultural space for art, photography, workshops, music sessions, sculpture, etc.
The gallery space in two levels was conceived as a single large volume with a suspended deck to achieve visual transparency and scale appropriate for the gallery.
ABOUT FOUNDER
Sreenivas Chandalla, the Founder of Gallery78 is an award-winning advertising photographer who is also an art enthusiast. From the JNTU College of fine arts classrooms, from where he graduated in photography in the year 1988, to being acknowledged as one of the best-known photographers in Hyderabad's advertising circles. His mission is to support and encourage young artists by providing opportunities and innovative projects to improve the quality of the art.
