ABOUT ARTIST
Uday’s journey as an artist began when he was a child. He started learning traditional painting techniques in his hometown near Chirala. He did plenty of drawings and paintings based on temple sculptures. Later he came to Hyderabad and pursued his graduation and post-graduation in painting from JNAFAU College of Fine Arts. At present, he is settled in Hyderabad. The artist started by working on varied subjects and rendering them using the photo-realistic technique. Among other things, he has painted a one rupee coin, fruits, vegetables, and bottles. At the moment he seems to be keen on depicting the essence of the urban environment. His present series of works is based on the environs of Hyderabad as seen by him.
