Shashank Dharna has a post graduated in painting from JNAFAU, Hyderabad. His works are surreal and futuristic in nature with machines and gadgets being the major theme. His works largely deal with social concerns of mechanization and urbanization in general. The floating elements in his works depict the infinite space over heaps of contemporary saturation and urban decay as they screech of an incoherent future. I have always aimed for a greater art form that can integrate man, machine, and technology to represent the infinity of life. In this approach, I have tried and achieved great appreciation, says Dharna.
