Rocks depicted are exotic and exciting, spots of adventure, and impossible to reach those high altitudes as a human exercise if they would have been existing. Eye levels of the composition displayed lead to the explanation that the artist is rendering those mountains from those heights itself as if his vision has wandered there in subconscious memory.
